I’m Jo Patterson, and I believe padel is more than a sport — it’s a way to bring people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds together. With over 30 years in sports development and tennis coaching, I’ve dedicated my career to growing participation, nurturing talent, and building welcoming sports communities. Having moved from a lifelong career in tennis to embracing padel, I see its unique power to unite people and create new opportunities. My work now focuses on helping venues and clubs put community engagement at their core. Through Connect2Padel leaders and initiatives, I provide practical, proven ways to fill courts, sustain interest, and build vibrant, inclusive environments. From juniors picking up a racket for the first time to parents, seniors, and social players, I’m passionate about shaping experiences that connect people, grow the game, and make padel truly community-driven.
